Romsey Memorial Park

Following a dental appointment this morning we took advantage of blue sky and sunshine to have a wander around Romsey and the Memorial Park.  It was still cold with a frost first thing but what a difference the sun makes. 

The ducks must have had a bumper feed over the Easter weekend as they weren't remotely interested in the bread that people were trying to entice them with today.  They obviously felt quite content to doze in the sunshine.

The river Test flows through the Memorial Park and at the moment the water level is really quite high.

Here and there in the park are drifts of crocus (is there a plural for more than one crocus?), I especially like the dark purple ones.
